The Junior Rose:
The Junior Rose is designed to encourage young children to enjoy running. We want them to feel the same excitement that the adults feel when running the Rose Marathon. Parents/guardians are encouraged to accompany kids in all events

2011 Junior Rose Slideshow

When:
Saturday October 6, 2012 - 8:30 a.m.

Where:
The Tyler Rose Garden Center - 420 Rose Park Drive, Tyler, Texas 75202

Activities:
Children 3-5 will compete in a 50 yard dash
Children 6-9 will compete in a tour of the Rose Garden about ¼ mile.
Children 10-12 will compete in a 7/10 mile course touring the Rose Garden Streets
We will have other great fun for all the kids before and after the run. Parents and kids can attend the Tyler Rose Expo afterwards.

All Children receive:
The official Junior Rose white short/sleeved T-shirt
A Special Junior Rose Celebration Medal shown below.
Lots of Fun!

Cost:
Children 5 and under - free
Children 6 and above - $5

Packet Pickup:
Event T-shirts and extras will be available in the Rose Garden starting at 7 a.m. on race morning, Saturday, October 6, 2012
